The 2008-2009 Westchester Youth Soccer Select Program offers a unique opportunity for the talented and committed players within the WYSL a chance to come together on an "all-star" team to further extend their skills by training and competing at a faster pace and higher level of play. Our program continues to grow with over 300 players last season playing on 12 Select Teams. Players in the WYSL Select Program are trained by the area’s top level coaches under the USYS national training curriculum. This level of training is not normally available on their local club teams.

 

The Select Program isintended to supplement not replace your child’s  local club team.

There is a specific Developmental Program for players born in 1998-1999. This age group will not tryout and will be able to enroll directly into the Program. The Developmental Program registration will be active on Monday September 15, 2008 starting at 12:00 noon.

The Select Developmental Program fee is $350.00. No player will be refused admission to due to financial restraints. There is a specific partial scholarship program for those who demonstrate financial need . Due to field constraints Developmental

registration will be limited to the first 50 players per age, per gender. Once this target level has been reached remaining

players will be wait listed.
