Registration for Spring Only WYSL Select Program- Players Boys & Girls born 1994 - 1998
Spring Only Registartion is available for some of Select Teams. Please contact the approriate team manager listed below for more information. If a position is avaialble candidates born from 1994 - 1998 will be first invited to register for a tryout for an age appropriate team. Spring Tournament Team Registration Fee: $ 295.00 -

After the tryout it is up to the coaching staff to determine if the player has the appropriate level of skill for an availbale position on a particular team. Select Tryout fee is $25.00

Overview of Select Tournament Teams:
Players born 1994 -1998, compose the tournament level teams for 2009-2010. Team formation is dependent upon turnout numbers and some teams age brackets in the older divisions may be combined to form a multi-year teams. Normally practice times for this group is ranges from 7:00 to 9:00 PM (check with your Team Manager for exact times and locations once teams have been formed) Monday evening training resumes in the spring commencing March 15th (pending field availability) and ending on Monday, July 12. These teams will then play in 3 regional high-level in June and July. Traditionally during the last weekend in June, second and third weekends in July. The program ends for this group upon the completion of the last tournament in July.
For Spring Only - Developmental Teams - Players born 1999 & 2000
Developmental players do not need to tryout. Please contact the appropriate team manage to determine if there is a positions available for your age group .
Once invited to register, players will partake in the normal practice session once for spring (scheduled to begin March 15 weather permitting). Spring Developmental Team Registration Fee: $225.00
Overview of Developemental Program:
Players born in 2000 and 1999 are considered developmental level and do not participate in summer tournaments. Developmental teams stress small-sided games to promote ball skill and control under the guidelines of US Youth Soccer player development system.The goal is to provide a “pressure-free”, higher level of training not generally available to players of this age at the local WYSL club team level. This program culminates with an intra--league round robin-like scrimmage games (or an event of a similar nature) at the end of June. No tryouts are required to join our Developmental teams. A maximum player pool of 40 players per gender, per age bracket will be accepted into this program.
Practice sessions are on Monday evenings and we resume for the spring session beginning Monday March 15th and are schedule from 6:00 to 7:00 PM for Boys teams at Tibbetts park and Girls teams from 5:30 - 6:30 at Saxon Woods (check with your Team Manager once teams are formed to confirm exact times and locations) and continue until Monday, June14th, with the intra-league scrimmage type event.
