Re: Fall 2010 Special Needs Soccer Program

The WYSL is partnering with the Scarsdale Recreation Department and the Scarsdale CHILD (Children Having Individual Learning Differences) to run an alternative soccer league for boys and girls with special needs.
The program is open to all children in kindergarten through high school who may require a little extra assistance to develop skills and confidence on the soccer field. The session is run by coaches and student volunteers from the surrounding community.
Classes will be held at Boulder Brook field on Mamaroneck Rd. in Scarsdale from noon-1pm on the following Saturdays:
Sept. 25
Oct. 2, 9, 23, 30
Nov. 6, 13
The WYSL requests the support of the member soccer clubs to promote the program within their individual towns and communities. The program is looking for both participants and student volunteers to assist with the activities.
